CATEGORY: FRENCH JAZZ
Contestants must re-invent the classic pink and white French manicure and embellish it with Nail Art using any 2 colours of their choice.
The work must be done on nail extensions with no external embellishments. Contestants must first make a base of classic pink and white French on the nails. Then they must create nail art on the French inspired by different fashion looks presented by HBS. The contestant must be able to present their concept to the judges.

RULES
- This competition is done on previously done extensions.
- The model’s hands must be prepped before the competition.
- The nail size should not be more the 2.5
- The shape of the nail can be coffin/stroke ballerina or square.
- Use of Gel Polish only.
- Step 1: Contestants must make a Base of classic French (use only Pink and white polish on the nails)
- Step 2: Contestants must create nail art on the French inspired by different fashion looks presented by HBS*. They can use any
two shades (or blend them for different shades) to complete the nail art. - The finished nail art must resemble a French manicure but yet be different and creative.
- Clear base coat and top coat can be used.
- Finish has to be Gloss
- Embellishment are not allowed.
- Water and soap may be used in finishing.
- Products like cream, oils and lotions may be used in moderation.
- No consideration will be given for any pre-existing damage to a model’s natural nails, cuticles, or hands.
*Inspiration will be given at the time of the competition in the form of 4 different fashion looks.

CATEGORY: SALON FAST & PERFECT
Theme: FASTEST NAIL EXTENSIONS WITH TIPS
The contestants must apply only clear or natural tips on the model’s nails on both hands to create nail extensions. The nail tips must be half the size of the nail bed when finished (2:1). The nails must be finished in light-cured gel products/liquid and powder acrylics with a permanent pink/white in built French polish on the Left hand and Red on the Right hand.
The contestant who finishes the fastest with the most flawless work will be declared the winner.

- Working Time: 100 minutes
- To Be Done: Two hands

RULES
- Model’s nails can be pre-manicured before the competition.
- Extensions must be made with clear or natural tips only.
- Extensions must be in 2:1 ratio from nail bed (pink) to free edge (white).
- Use only clear adhesives to attach tips to the nail.
- On the Left hand, Contestants must create extensions with in-built French in light-cured gel products/liquid and powder acrylics.
- On the Right hand, Contestants can create a similar extensions with light-cured Pink gel products/liquid and powder acrylics. This hand should be finished with normal cream red polish and normal top coat.
- Enhancement products containing glitter and/or any other colour are NOT allowed. Cover pinks NOT allowed.
- No coloured products of any type may be applied to tips prior to attaching them to the natural nail.
- Water and soap may be used in finishing.
- No cleaning whatsoever should take place after the competition is over.
- Pre-existing damage to the model’s nails or hands will not be considered.
- Use of Electronic files are allowed

CATEGORY: BRIDAL CHIC
Theme: BRIDGERTON
This year, contestants get to choose between two unique themes! The Bridgeton Nails with Pastels is soft, powdery pastels inspired by the elegant regency-era of Bridgeton. With its delicate pastel hues, Bridgeton Nails with Pastels is perfect for the dreamy, romantic bride. On the other hand, Mocha Mousse brings a contemporary twist to bridal nails. This rich, warm neutral with its brown gradients exudes understated luxury.
Contestants must create nail art using nail extensions on the model’s nails. Nail embellishments, jewellery and other decorations are allowed. The model must be prepped with the nail extensions already attached to the nails before the start of the competition. No other pre-preparation should be done to the nails.
Model will be marked on: Nails only.

- Contestants must file them into perfect almond shape. Finished nail extensions must have max length 1.5 inches from the free edge
- All nail art must be made from professional nail products only
- Embellishments, feathers, decals, gems, accessories, ornaments or any form of decorations are allowed, but can cover only 25% of the nails.
- Contestants may not use any copyrighted art, designs or logos.
- Henna or similar products on hands or fingers are strictly prohibited.
- Air brushing is not allowed.
FINISHING
- Finished Nail extensions must be almond shaped and 1” from the free edge.
- 3D is allowed, with professional nail products only.
- Bonus points will be given for Ombre nails using the theme colours.
- Water and soap may be used in finishing.
- No cleaning whatsoever should take place after the competition is over.

CATEGORY: FANTASY EN VOGUE
Theme: WICKED
Contestants must present a model in a full fantasy look, complete with hair, make-up, costume and props.
Step into the spellbinding world of Wicked! Inspired by magic, mystery and mischief, this theme channels dark glamour and bewitching hues. Pair dramatic textures with hypnotic holographics to create some wicked-ly magical talons!
Depending on the theme and the characters, chosen, contestants will have to design 3D nail art extensions, 3D embellishments, piercings and other decorations are allowed. Contestants can use pre- made 3D nail attachments as long as they are made by the contestant themselves.
Model must be prepped with the nail extensions already attached to the nails before the competition. No other pre-preparation should be done to the nails.
The model will be marked on the complete look: nails, hair, make-up and costume.

- Working Time: 90 minutes
- To Be Done: Both hands

RULES
- Contestants must come prepped with the nail extensions already attached to the model’s nails. No other preparation beyond that allowed on the model’s nails.
- All pre-made 3D attachments must be made with Professional nail products only, by the contestant themselves. Judges may ask for a real-time demonstration from the contestants.
- Contestants must create fantasy nail art on the nail extensions, according to the ‘gothic’ theme.
- Three dimensional embellishments, decorations e.g. feathers, decals, gems, accessories, nail piercings with hanging ornaments or any form of fantasy are allowed but must cover only 25% of the nails.
- Contestants will be required to bring their own drills with an extension cord if need be.
- Contestants may not use any copyrighted art, designs or logos. Doing so will result in disqualification.
- Contestants must be able present their concept explaining their interpretation of the theme for the nail art to the Jury. Failure to do so will lead to deduction in points.
- NEW: 3D should be made with professional nail products only. Contenstants
can either use acrylic powders or gel products for making 3D designs.
Model
- The model must be in costume and ready with hair and make-up according to the theme at the beginning of the competition and be prepared for judging at the scheduled report time.
- Models must be able to walk in costume without assistance.
- Please make sure that your costume or look complements the theme.
- Only the model and competitor are allowed on the competition floor. The costuming, make-up and hair must be assembled before the competition.
FINISHING
- Water and soap may be used in finishing.
- No cleaning whatsoever should take place after the competition is over.
- Pre-existing damage to the model’s nails or hands will get negative marks.
- Products like cream, oils and lotions may be used but excessive oil will lead to points deduction.

CATEGORY: CLASSIQUE FLAT ART Box category
THEME: GALAXY
Boxed Flat Nail Art - Submission Category: Last date for submission 25th March 2025
Contestants must create a piece of nail art spread across 10 graduated nail tips using only flat or 2D nail art painting techniques.
Get ready to blast off into the cosmic world of creativity with this year’s Galaxy theme! This theme is all about limitless imagination - whether it is galactic skies, futuristic galaxies, or dazzling constellations.
- To be done: Nail Art painting on 10 graduated tips

Floor rules
- Entry will consist of 10 nail tips placed next to each other, hand painted with the given theme.
- Design can use all 10 tips as a single canvas or paint each nail with a separate character. Or a group of characters from the movie.
- The tips cannot be longer than 3 inches and wider than ¾ of an inch.
- The tips must be graduated in size according to the individual nails.
- Finished tips must be wearable.
- Original tip colour does NOT matter.
- All work must be done by hand painting only. Absolutely no airbrushing is allowed. Only paint and polish may be used.
- Surfaces of the painted tips must be completely flat without any raised surfaces
- Top coat or UV gel sealant MUST be used but must NOT contain any glitter.
- Copied Designs from other competitions or from the internet will be disqualified instantly and the artwork will not be displayed at NAILATHON.

Contestants must also submit a written statement in two parts:
- Detailing the products and processes used to create the art (DO NOT NAME SPECIFIC BRANDS OR MANUFACTURERS)
- The entries must be sent in a proper plastic display box with a transparent lid. The name of the Contestant can be written on paper and pasted on the back of the box. The nails must be securely attached next to each other with glue to a plain black paper (no texture or colour or pattern) background in the box. They should not be secured to each other and should only be secured to the background.
- There must be a clear distance of 2 inches minimum between the nails and the edge of the box on all sides.
- The entries, along with the Contestant Form must be carefully packed and couriered to StyleSpeak office by 25th April 2025. DO NOT send the entries after this date. Entries can also be directly delivered at the office by the Contestant or their representative.
Note
This is a box based competition, only entries that have been pre-submitted by 25th March 2025 will be displayed and considered for the competition. Late entries are not allowed.
